Business Publications Corporation

Project type

Brand identity

I led two complete brand identity redesigns for Business Publications Corporation during pivotal moments in the company’s history. The first rebrand followed BPC’s acquisition by Brown Publishing Company and required a visual system that reflected new ownership while maintaining continuity with an established audience. Nearly two years later, when the original owner repurchased the business, I was brought back to once again reimagine the brand, this time restoring its independent voice while modernizing its look and feel.

Across both rebrands, I was responsible for redefining the company’s visual language, including logo refinement, typography, color systems, and brand applications across print and digital platforms. Working closely with leadership, writers and designers, we aligned visual identity with brand voice, messaging, and user experience to create a cohesive, flexible system that could scale across multiple publications and touchpoints.

This project required balancing strategy, collaboration, and execution, honoring BPC’s legacy while positioning the brand for its next chapter. The result was a refreshed, confident identity that supported the company through significant organizational change.
